i love this guy

My sister FINALLY put up new pictures of Connor. He's getting so big! He's almost 5 months old. The last time I saw him he was 2 months...i NEED to see him soon or else he'll be a grown up next time i see him!

so this weekend FLEW by for me! on saturday i had a mandatory training thing at the starbucks corporate office building in seattle for work. it was from 9-3. it wasn't so bad, we got free coffee and tea! plus we got paid! so i can't complain about that.

on sunday i was baby sitting hiedis two boys while she went to work. it wasn't an amazingly beautiful day but it was nice enough to go outside. we walked a couple of miles to a park where they got to play for a bit. then we walked back home. it was nice to get out and get some exercise while breathing fresh air. i don't get to do anything during the week besides work,come home,sleep, start over, so i try to make the most of my weekends. this one was definitely a great one! it went by too fast! maybe obama will pass a law to make weekends longer...a girl can dream!

in case you can't tell by my lack of blogging, these past few weeks have been pretty hectic. I haven't even had time to THINK about blogging. actually,that's not true. on saturday night i made a really long videoblog, but it had no sound. so,you get this.

let's see...what have i been up to the past 2 weeks...

well, the mxpx show i went to in seattle with my friend cindi was a BLAST. that night we came back to my house,played some Phase 10 and fell asleep. the next day it was gorgeous so we took a walk around downtown tacoma with my roommate heidi.

after that, back to work for a week.

on FRIDAY my friend Sarah from california flew up for the weekend. crazy insane good times were had by all. her friend allie drove up from oregon to meet us in tacoma and that weekend we managed to: see jimi hendrix grave, drink lots of coffee,go to a Tumbledown show in Seattle, visit pikes place market and the original starbucks,have a super fun dance party that resulted in sarah setting her hair on fire(hahahahahahahahaha!...i mean, how tragic...),eating a delicious breakfast at ihop, seeing the "famous mountain", and seeing every site in my area that had to with the movie 10 things i hate about you that there was to be seen.(if i missed anything,sarah, feel free to add that on)there are lots and lots of pictures and video that i will put up at a later time. PROMISE. i was super sad to see her go, but i'm planning a trip to cali at the end of march so i'm REALLY excited for that!

while i'm on the subject of trips...i'm also planning a trip to houston to visit my sister and her family in may and i'm DEFINITELY going to be in minnesota for the 4th of july.you heard it here first! more busy-ness to come...can't wait!!

you may remember reading about me wanting to apply for the free online classes my work offers and going for my Child Development Associates. Well, i've officially applied and should hear back whether i got accepted by the end of february.

that's about the jist of it for now. hope everyone is doing ok...i know i owe some of you phone calls and emails...i'll get to those as soon as i can! talk to YOU soon!
