smarty pants

Yesterday I was showing a group of my preschool kids how to make shapes with play-dough out of cookie cutters. I found a shape in our pile of cookie cutters that I wasn't exactly sure what it was,so I thought I'd ask my kids for some of their input.
I held up this shape:



and asked the kids,"What do you guys think this is?". I got a collection of responses of animals including "Elephant!" "It's a cow!" or even "A hippo!".

After about 5 or 6 different responses one chilld literally took the cookie cutter out of my hand,turned it around and said, "No,it's a TRAIN!!"



Ooooooohhh...a TRAIN! Duh.

My kids are so smart.
